Have you ever considered acupuncture as a treatment for those aches and pains?  We are now offering acupuncture as an add on service at BodyWise Chiropractic!

Acupuncture aims to treat many types of conditions, but most commonly it is used for pain relief.  Very small needles are inserted in specific points based upon your symptoms, and are typically left in for 15-20 minutes.  The most common question asked in my office about acupuncture is “do the needles hurt”?  Most patients share that they do not feel the needles, although some points can be tender.  Treatment is typically quite relaxing.

While acupuncture has been shown to treat many types of ailments, our office focuses on a complementary treatment to your adjustment.  Lower back pain, headaches, neck tension, frozen shoulder, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis are among the conditions we have had benefit treating in our office.  Some patients choose to add acupuncture for well-being and wellness reasons as well.  If you have ever considered adding acupuncture, we would be happy to answer any questions you may have during your next treatment!
